评审会后专家组一致原则同意横山大明绿豆地理标志产品保护申请通过审核，按照有关程序进行公示、公告。

2020年7月20日，“横山大明绿豆”已入选中欧地理标志首批保护清单。此次国家地理标志产品保护申请通过后，将进一步扩大“横山大明绿豆”的知名度和影响力，对有效保护横山大明绿豆的生产资源，乃至带动农业增效、农民增收、从而促进地方经济健康快速发展等方面具有深远意义。
